I would like to be able to see new messages in my in box without having to
use the receive tab. Is there a way to have them just come into my inbox without tapping on receive |

Then it is time for you to start posting some actual information.
It is impossible to determine why automatic polling is failing when you do not post your Outlook version, mail account type, connection type and polling settings. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "lmg" wrote in message ... I am not the most computer literate person, but will try to supply you with
the information you are asking for. I have Outlook as part of Office 2003. I have a high speed internet connection. Unfortunately that doesn't tell us anything. What type of email account are
you using (email types include POP3, HTTP, IMAP, Exchange server)? You had to have configured the account, so you would know what type it is. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "lmg" wrote in message ...
