![]() After furious head scratching, and some new language Rob asked: Two machines Both XP Home SP2 #1 OL 2003 #2 OL 2007 Beta2 I recently moved my domain to go daddy from a local place. I am able to get my emails (mine and my wife) on two machines at my office. However I am not able to pull my mail in on my home machines. I can send from them but not receive. I have the same issue on both machines and on OL 2003 & 2007 and OE6 Below is an error report, I found these definitions on support.micr... There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'mail.aubrey.net', Server: 'mail.aubrey.net', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR rob logon failed', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92 ERROR CODE ERROR TYPE DESCRIPTION --------------------- ------------------------------------ -------------------------------------- 0x800CCC90 POP3_RESPONSE_ERROR Client response invalid. 0x800CCC92 POP3_INVALID_PASSWORD Password not valid for account. I have removed the account several times and reset the passwords at the host several times. I went down to my office to check those machines. I was pilling mail just fine. I even set up one email account on one of my spare machines and it worked fine also. SO I know it is narrowed down to my home machines. I am able to receive on my web based email so I know the password and user names are correct. I disconnected my old host this morning I am not sure if that could have anything to do it with it. Also I cannot get on to the ftp site from my home machines but I can from the office. I have noticed that Cute FTP is trying to login from the old host site. I have worked godaddy people and we again have narrowed down to outlook. Thanks |
