Default "Switch Identities" in Outlook

Hi,
I see plenty of posts stating that one can't "switch identies" in Outlook
after running the office program. None of these posts seem to explain how to
correctly manage 2 separate profiles (and yes, we need 2 profiles). I can
not seem to get the 2nd profile's emails out of profile #1. Suggestions?
Thx!

Have you checked the Outlook help files for "using profiles?" Once you have
read that, post back with anything that you are still unclear about.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, Erin asked:

OE uses identities OL uses Profiles
Each profile can use its own pst and account(s)
The email accounts need to be seperate ie different password and user name
though they can be the same isp
Whilst in OE you can switch identities in OL you have to close OL and
restart, OL should be set to prompt for the profile
