Default Check for new email and send an alarm if the email did not arrive

Hi All,

Is there away is outlook (or by using a third party software) to check
for new emails every 5 minutes and send an alram or email to someone if
an email did not arrive in the right time.

Thank you for your help.

Without custom code, I don't think it's possible to trigger something on the
absence of something as opposed to the presence of something.

not sure if this would work:

- set your email to send receive at least every 5 minutes (tools / options /
mail setup...)
- create a rule to check for the words "undeliverable -you may need to check
the actual text that you get in the return email that is alerting you)
(tools / rules and alerts / new rule / blank rule...)
- send your email with a "delivery receipt" attached (new email / view /
options...)
- (make sure that your sound is turned ON...)

like I said... haven't tried it, (and I have no idea what you mean by "in
the right time -"right" in code is an ambiguous term, and as fickle as
computers can be, they do need to deal in absolutes...)
