We would like to distribute a search (.OSS) to all staff, a simple
search which when they double click on it, it will span their inbox, sent items, and deleted items, and includes a "size" field, such that staff can quickly see all of their email items, sort by date or by size, and get rid of big chunks of email that they no longer need. I was able to save an .OSS file on my PC doing this which works only from my outlook. If I try to distribute it to anyone else, however, it somehow maintains a link to my mailbox (even though the search only reads "inbox; sent items; deleted items" which seems generic enough to me.) As a result, this .OSS file (on others' outlook sessions) comes up with a small warning that it cannot find the original folder structure, then defaults to only their inbox and doesn't include their sent items or deleted items. Is this possible to contruct a search which spans multiple folders and then distribute it as a link to other outlook users? I checked slipstick.com and couldn't find anything under the "cleaning house" section. Any help greatly appreciated!!! |
