"Not Responding" when saving ttachment
Do you have alot of mapped drives? Try waiting past the "not responding"
message, if you have alot of mapped drives that could be what is taking so long. Quite often Outlook will respond again if you're patient so you don't have to start again. -- Kathleen Orland Blessed are the cracked, for it is they who let in the light Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ http://www.howto-outlook.com/ "Dussan Pirc" wrote: I have Outlook 2003 SP2 running on Windows XP SP2 all with latest SP distributed by WSUS. "Not Responding" when saving ttachment
Dussan,
Check to see what other processes you are running- on Task Manager. Do you have any 3rd party tools or a backup software running for you your My Documents folder? Also check to see if you Outlook is trying to do a send/receive at the same time. There may be another processes or program taking up resources e.g. Virus scanner. -- Regards, Francine Otterson President, San Diego Outlook User Group MVP - Microsoft Outlook "Dussan Pirc" wrote in message . ..
