Hi,
I'm setting up an automatic email script, but I find that most of the emails I send from PHP end up in my junk folder. Playing around I found an interesting pattern. Anything that includes the word 'password' in the subject (case insensitive) is sent to Inbox, everything else so far has been sent to Junk. The problem I have is that my webhost overrides the From: header to something that Outlook does not accept to be a valid email address. I'd rather not have to force the word Password into each and every email, instead I'd like to know more about these obscure rules. Are they set from some configuration anywhere, or do you just have to hack them? Many thanks, Andreas |

I should mention that this seems to be specific to Outlook 2007. Outlook 2003 as well as other email client software handle these emails correctly. I have my spam setting set to Low. A quick fix would be to be able to manually modify the rule details, from which the string Password is marked as safe. If I would be able to do it on group policy level, even better! Another observation is that there appears to be a hierarchy to the rules. If I send an email with the subject 'Password Viagra' from (on behalf of) viagra [at] cheapviagra.com it quite rightly ends up in junk. Last edited by Andreas Jansson : April 16th 10 at 02:19 PM.
