G'Day!
I've got a Genifax Server configured to work in hand with a few clients, who can send outbound faxes via Outlook 2k or 2k3. They can attach a document or file in the email, and the server will scan and deliver it to the target fax machine, specified in the email. Unfortunately, if they type anything in the email besides just an attachment.. the following happens: The first page is delivered, with a header added by our fax server: [Date] [Time] [Company Name] [Page 1] An additional line is added, (presumably by Microsoft Outlook or Windows): [Page 1 of 1] Then the next page (attachment page 1) has our fax server header, with: [Date] [Time] [Company Name] [Page 2] Question is this - how can I eliminate the line added that says Page 1 of 1? This would be confusing to our vendors and clients when sending out faxes where details need to be added into the email body.. is there a registry string or setting that I can modify to remove it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! This one is definitely a stumper!! Ciao! |

Not sure why you've posted here when you have a third party software issue.

I believe it is an Outlook problem, as it seems to be adding that line
of text onto the fax (it is unique to the text placed in the email) Should there be another group I should be posting to? |

It is not an Outlook problem. You should be asking the manufacturer of the
software. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] wrote in message ups.com... I believe it is an Outlook problem, as it seems to be adding that line of text onto the fax (it is unique to the text placed in the email) Should there be another group I should be posting to? |
