Robert.....for EONS, the news groups downloaded with the mail when I hit
Send/Receive. Now it won't. Why not??

IOW...don't give a rat's patootie about Synch.....I want the old settings.

Why? Maybe with F5 or Enter but AFAIK Ctrl-M just does Mail servers.
Probably what she wants is Ctrl-Shift-M (Synchronize All.)


If you click on the Eternal September news server in the folder tree,
what is under the Settings button.

I use Don't Sync.


Then Ctrl-Shift-M wouldn't do anything more for you than Ctrl-M would.
