Hi,
I'm running Windows XP. I had a problem with Outlook Express 6 not remembering my account passwords. After trying different 'solutions' which didn't work, I finally tried the solution provided by Microsoft at: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290684, method 3, i.e. deleting the entry from the registry. Upon restarting OE, this problem was fixed and the passwords were retained. But then I ended up with a bigger problem. When selecting the downloaded mails, nothing was shown in the email preview window, not even if I opened the mail by double-clicking on it. Also, when creating a new mail, I can enter the address and subject but I cannot enter and write in the mail body area. I tried a fix: regsvr32 inetcomm.dll, but it didn't work. I also tried to create a new OE storage folder, but again nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Create a new Identity. If works, then import your messages from the old
Identity. -- Ronald Sommer "Blaze" wrote in message ... Hi, I'm running Windows XP. I had a problem with Outlook Express 6 not remembering my account passwords. The one shouldn't affect the other. Check your system for viruses and
