Mails not appearing

Default Mails not appearing

I often get mails which appear to download, but
do not appear in the inbox. The download bar appears and says e.g.
downloading message 1 of 1, but the mail does not appear.
I have no rules set. This is driving me mad as I am not receiving
numerous messages sent to me. I'm not sure if it is a problem with
Outlook or my provider. Anybody else had this problem?

Default Mails not appearing

Make sure your folders are set to View | Current View | Show all messages.
Also check to see if they wind up in the Deleted items folder.

And disable email scanning of AV software and then remove your mail account,
close and reopen OE, and then add it back again and see if that fixes the

Are any messages bold?
View | Current View
Uncheck Group messages by conversation.
