Default Can's able to recieve mails but sending mails

Hi,
I am new to outlook. I am using outlook2000. I configured the POP3 and
SMTP Ip address with my account names. Now, I am able to send emails. But, I
am not able to recieve mails. So, how can i download my inbox emails to my PC
outlook.

Outlook 2000 does not have a Test Account Settings button - that was
introduced with Outlook 2002.

unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

| Are you sure you have the correct POP server name? Do you get any
| errors when you try to receive? What happens when you use the "Test
| account" button?

Thanks for letting me know. I didn't have a OL 2000 installation on which
to check.
