Default Mail rules not working correctly.

I did a recent reinstall of XP Pro on a clean disk. Since then, the Mail
rules in my OE 6 do not work reliably (they used to in the old install!). I
have them set up so that emails with certain words (e.g: Viagra, Cialis, etc)
be deleted from the server & not downloaded; emails from certain addresses or
names be directed to specific folders, etc.

The "deletes" don't seem to be working at all ('course I don't know about
any that are being deleted, but if so, a lot are getting through) and the
folder redirects frequently go to the wrong folders.

Anybody have any idea what's happening and how I can fix this problem(s)?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Default Mail rules not working correctly.

Delete it from server will not work on a message body rule, if that is the
case.

In general:

Have all rules that divert mail to folders first.

Delete it from server next.

All others last.

Make sure that every rule also has Stop processing more rules checked,
unless that option is grayed out.
