Default How to restore copied messages

I was attempting to move my whole Store Folder to the destop and then to a CD
so I could take it with me on a trip and transfer to mylaptop.

When I copied the store folder and burned to CD, it apparently moved the
files not copy and now I have a series of .dbx files on the CD and a
completely empty OE6 on my original desktop HP MCE 2005 computer.
How can I get the moved message files back to my Desktop? The import wizard
can't find the store folder on the CD, even when I type in the whole path.
The CD didn't finalize; could that be the problem?
Thanks for your help.

Put the DBX files, including Follders.dbx, in an empty Windows folder. Then
remove the Read Only attribute. You should now be able to use OE's File
Import.

Frank:
It worked very well. All I have to do now is get the right procedure for
backing up these message folders without getting into a copy nightmare so I
can put them on the laptop.

Thanks
