Default Reminders on copied Microsoft Calendars

I have copied the calendar for other names and I am trying to set up
reminders, but it states the following: The reminder for this "person" will
not appear because the item is not in your Calendar or Tasks folder.

Right. Without a 3rd party addin Outlook will only fire reminders from the
default Inbox, Calendar, Tasks and Contacts folders. All other folders
return that hard-coded warning, even if an addin does fire reminders from
other folders.

Ken,

Thanks for answering this question for what must be about the 100th time. I
came to this newsgroup and did a search for "will not appear" (with the
quotes), and couldn't believe how many people ask the same thing without
searching for the answer first!

Now I know to be in one of my Exchange folders, and not a .PST folder when
setting up something that needs a reminder.
