I'll take that as a "No." I just thought there must be a way to access the
WAB programatically and extract the information I need to an Access database or something else, manipulate the data and then import it into BCM?? I guess not. My goal is to move my client's entire WAB file to the Business Contact Manager (BCM). There are thousands of entries and hundreds of Groups. I understand that I will lose the Groups in an Export, but is the ANY other way to accomplish my goal. Can I somehow use the WABAPI to get it done. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Have you looked at the API?
Windows Address Book API http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...b/wabentry.asp I would guess that there is some way you can read the group information and build your own export file format. But I don't know of anyone who has done that. You'd then need to figure out how to get the group information into BCM. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "ELS" wrote in message ...
