I accidently activated this newsgroup responding to a welcome OE letter and
find it to have a lot of useful info..I am wondering why I can not delete
the posts? Do they reside externally to my computer??? I am so new, new ,
and none of my computer friends use or have used newsgroups.....thanks for
helping give me some basic info here.....Yolanda

You can only delete them on your computer, not from the newsgroup itself.
They are there for about 90 days.

Have you tried highlighting the post in the Message List and pressing the
Delete key?

This only deletes it on your computer, not the server.
