Default recover/read lost Identity GUID from backed up folder

Please confirm that (1) you've copied all DBX files in the backup set,
including Folders.dbx, from the (external) drive to a folder on the HDD of
the partition running OE where you want to import the data and that (2)
you've pointed the import wizard to this folder.

Also please tell us the size of each of the following DBX files in the
backup set: Inbox.dbx; Sent Items.dbx; Deleted Items.dbx; and Folders.dbx.

But there must be a way to read the GUID from the DBX Hotmail files?

DBExtract (http://www.oehelp.com/DBXtract/Default.aspx) or DBXtend
(http://www.oehelp.com/DBXtend/Default.aspx) should be able to extract
messages from a Hotmail-specific DBX file.

There is a way to import a single Hotmail-specific DBX file into OE
(http://www.insideoe.com/faqs/how.htm#importdbx). However, if you import it
as a Hotmail-specific folder and the DBX file contains messages that are no
longer on the server, those messages will be deleted when OE first syncs
with the Hotmail server.

I backed up my Identities Outlook Express folder. I formated my drive
and
now I want to import my mail. Problem is, I didn't save the Identity
GUID.
Is it possible to recover/read the Identity GUID from a backed up
Outlook
Express folder?
