Default e-mail in html format is rejected

I have selected the Option to Send e-mail in html format in OE6. The New
Year greetings - designed in an html format, using FrontPage 2000 - I want
to send, are being returned to me, I guess by O E6, since the rejection
comment says that I am not allowed to send mail in this format. I have
stored them in a Stationery Folder in which there are other Stationery
option files, provided by OE6, also in html format and using the Menu saying
Send Message using Selected Stationery.
Any comments or suggestions?

The rejection message says: "attachment with this suffix is not allowed". I
thought ANIGIFs are allowed.

Depends on the mailer server/isp you're sending to.

To keep track of things, it helps immensely if you include all of previous
message(s) in your replies to the newsgroup. Thank you.

OE's not involved here. Given no further information, I'd say you ISP
rejected the message due to the ANIGIF attachment which they may view as a
security risk.
