Not reliably no... it can be done but is hopeless in practice in most cases.

toolsaccountsdouble click account nameadvanced tab

Leave a copy of messages on server
Remove from server after (say) 10 days

Then set up identical account on the laptop with same settings.

This will not help with "Sent" items but you could always BCC copies to
yourself and make a rule to sort on receipt.

If your ISP offers IMAP mail server access, that is the way to go. IMAP
is designed for a single mail account to be shared by multiple PCs. The
IMAP mail is managed at the mail server.

If your ISP doesn't provide IMAP support, an option is to run your own
local mail server that accesses the ISP via POP3 and then provides IMAP
support to your local PCs. For an example of such a program, see:
Mercury Mail Transport System

Create a folder, and then a message rule.

Where the To or CC lines contain people
Move to specified folder & Stop processing more rules
Click on Specified Folder and choose the folder you want the message to go
to
Click on Contains People and add your address
Click Options and choose Does not contain

When you send an e-mail, put yourself in the BCC line, (View | All Headers),
and you will get a copy back and it will be placed in the folder you
specified.

Put this rule at the top of the Message Rule list.

You can also open a New Message window, put your address in the BCC field
and then File | Save as | .txt and save it to the Desktop. Click on that
icon and the New Message window will open up with your address already in
the BCC field.

Thank you Bruce, obviously I was busy at work and I couldn't have said it
better myself had I been able to respond.
