Small pasted fonts
When I paste into OE6 the font size sometimes becomes unreadable small.
(6p ) I can't find a pattern to it. "Format Font" is greyed out in the message window. I only compose and send in plain text. The News "Compose Font" in 'Tools Options' is set to be '9p Arial' but appears to be Times New Roman 12p on the page as I write this. Any Thoughts? TIA Slatts |

Small pasted fonts
It's a problem with different editors used in Outlook Express and other
programs. Quickest fix is just to click (in the Compose Message window menu) Format/Rich Text(HTML) followed by clicking again Format/Plain Text. Another fix is just to save it to the Drafts folder. The formatting is not done until the message is either saved to Drafts or the Outbox, although the applying Format/HTML followed by Format/Plain Text will make the results apparent immediately. -- Jim Pickering, MVP, Outlook Express https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/pr...8-1171988A62D6 Please deliver feedback to the newsgroup, so that others can be helped. In addition to what Jim said, you may find this little utility useful
http://www.stevemiller.net/puretext/ It lets you paste the text without the formatting. I've used the option to have the Window-Key+V do the convert to pure text and paste. So if I use that rather than Ctrl+V for the paste, I get the pure text, but I can still use Ctrl+V when I want the formatted text. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "Sla#s" wrote in message ... I'll try 'puretext' in spite of being loath to add yet another icon to the QL bar :-) Slatts |
