![]() "Robert Aldwinckle" wrote in message ... "JMF" wrote in message ... Thanks, Bruce. I'd be interested in knowing whether there is a way to have BOTH Acrobat 5 and Acrobat Reader 7 installed on my machine, but to have IE choose the Reader instead of Acrobat when opening a PDF. Is there any way to do that? Seems to me it would depend on the order that the products were installed and then what filetype associations were left afterwards. E.g. at worst I would expect to have to undo whatever installing Acrobat 5.0 would do versus installing the latest version of Acrobat Reader by itself. Well, I can give it a try like you said. BTW this is off-topic for this newsgroup. E.g. so far OE hasn't been mentioned. You would probably find more discussions about this issue on the Adobe user forums. Ah, then that was just a misunderstanding. I saw "ie6" in the name of the newsgroup and thought it was the newsgroup for BOTH ie6 and OE. Anyway, I'll be happy to check the Adobe forums, too. John |
