Hello,
yesterday I've transferred via cable all old computer's HDD to new computer (to folder, which I named "old hdd"). Thought it was easy to transfer OE inbox and address book, but when I go via File-import, clicking left mouse button , it shows OE folder is empty on "old hdd", so nothing to import. When I click the right mouse button, I can see the folder is not empty and has files I need to transfer, but how to do it? I can't "drive" to these files clicking left button. By the way, old inbox.dbx is zipped. Strange. Old computer has Win 98, new XP Pro, both use OE 6.0 |

Laimonas.
I've had a similar problem of trying to identify the location of OE files. A quick way would be to ensure Windows explorer can see ALL files and do a search for *.dbx files. That will show you where they all are from which you should be able to identify **your** files. I keep all **my** files in a discreet folder (My documents?). In that way things like emails, faxes and favorites don't get lost amongst the software. Regards. Bill Ridgeway Computer Solutions "Laimonas" wrote in message ...
