When typing a message after completing the first word I hit the space bar
and the word jumps down to the next line. On typing the second word, this
stays level with the first word as do subsequent words until I reach the end
of the line or I hit enter to start a new line. Every time I hit the space
bar after the first word on a new line the word drops down to the next line,
so all the lines of my messages become double spaced. Except this message
which is fine!

The Enter key should only be used at the end of a paragraph, not the end
of a line. OE will automatically do line wrapping when you send the
message.

You can also run into problems if you compose in another program, such
as Word, and then copy/paste into OE.

OE Tools Options Send Mail Sending Format Is HTML selected as the
default here? If so...

= If you change the default to Plain Text, does the behavior persist?

= Are you using Stationery in HTML messages?

If not, see if the behavior persists in a new identity (File Identities
Add new identity).
