See my reply in Google Groups archive if it's not appearing for you either: http://groups.google.com/group/micro...s.inetexplorer.... repost I am assuming the account in question is a account. If it's not, STOP HERE! 1. Disable NAV's Email Protection but *not* NAV itself. 2. Physically disconnect the machine from the internet. 3. Uninstall ZA Free. 4. Create a new OE identity (File Identities Add new identity) and configure the account in it per the instructions at http://www.netzero.net/support/email...oex5.html;Note Step #13: the Account name entered should be "name", not ". 5. Reconnect to the internet and test the account's ability to Send and Receive in this new identity. If necessary, Send yourself a message. **Be careful! Without a firewall, don't do _anything_ else online except testing the account!** 6. Whether Sending succeeded or not, immediately install a firewall (be it ZA Free, Comodo Free, or whatever) and configure it so that it's not blocking Ports 25 and 110. [NB: If you connect via a router with a NAT firewall, you might consider not using a third-party firewall like ZA or Comodo.] 7. Assuming Sending and Receiving succeeds in the new identity: (a) compact all folders in the old identity, (b) import messages from the old identity into the new one, and then (c) delete the old one (File Identities Manage Identities).
