Default Some Outlook, huh!

Outlook Express does not log on to my mail account, it just tells me that the
server could not be found. Someone told me it was better than aol, but what
is all this POP3 and SMPT stuff about? I expect I've missed something in
setting the account, but what? Help please!

I wouldn't ues AOL if it was my only choice. Is AOL your ISP?
