Default How to backup Outlook Express email folders and settings

I want to reinstall Windows Xp soon, as I got a virus and after
cleaning the computer doesn’t work as smooth as before. I gives some
strange erros and sometimes it justs hangs up... I want to backup
Outlook Express emails and settings before reinstall, and restore
afterwards. Any help?

Hi,
Also you may backup outlook express dbx files and import to new PC
your dbx files are under;
C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities
(if you didn't change default storage location)
under USER_ID folder you may see outlook express folder. just copy and paste
it to backup location and when you prepare new PC open outlook express anf
import these dbx files.
