How to backup Outlook Mail settings.
Greetings!
I have searched the MS Office homepage, but for the life of me cannot find any information about backing up my Outlook mail settings...the settings for my incoming and outgoing servers, logins, etc. I know that office offers a "save my Settings" options from the start bar, but it does not specify whether this backs up my server/log in information. Can anyone please shed some light on this for me? Thanks! Bobby |

You can use the File and Settings Transfer wizard in Windows XP to save all
of that for you. It is under Start-All Programs-Accessories-System Tools. Be sure to copy your.pst file if you are going to reinstall later. Do not import, just use File-open from Outlook. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact.
