Call tech support at Netscape. That's what you are paying them for.

Pat,

Look at the OP's message. It is /not/ an Outlook Express question. Your ISP assigns the settings to set up an e-mail account. Not MS or OE.

BTW, no one here is employed , or gets paid by MS or any other company. We are all volunteers. So if you never need my help, good for you.

I guess that you don't know that they aren't the same.
Some require authentication. Setting OE to authenticate will break others.
Many use non-standard ports and one must set those.

And if you looked right, you would see the OP is posting usong Outlook
Express, not Outlook. A very old version of OE to boot. A visit to Windows
Updates is needed.

I take offense at your refference the I feel I am better than God. My reply
was what I would do. If I got a new ISP, I would call them and ask them what
their server settings are. I wouldn't ask here. I have no idea what Netscape
requires for settings.

You said you would help her, so get to it.
