I can't send email w/ Outlook Express 6
"Hisraveness" wrote in message ... I recently configured my outlook express to pick up my "Gmail". I followed Google's instructions and then ran their troubleshooter to make sure I did everything OK. I know the settings are correct because if someone sends an email to that address it shows up in my outlooks express inbox, and I can reply to the message and it gets sent. The problem is when I go to create a new email using OE. when I click "send" I get the following message: "The message could not be sent. You do not have any accounts configured for sending e-mail. Please verify your account configuration." I've checked and rechecked my settings and I can't seem to figure out the problem. Can you help? Thanks, Dave
