message rules in outlook express
coupla q's about message rules.
Can I do "create rule from message" on several messages at once? I want to move all messages from a lot of different people into a particular folder. Is there a fast way to highlight several messages and create a single rule covering all senders. Is it possible to use wildcards in message rules? If I regularly get messages from is it possible to create a rule for ? TIA

No to both, I think. You might consider using Edit | Find and then select
the search results from that and move them to a folder to supplement what you can do with rules. steve "Pete Morris" nospam.ple@se wrote in message k... coupla q's about message rules. The answer to both is no, but you don't need a wildcard.

Why not just create a rule then add the names of the other people to the
same rule? Yeah it will take longer, but i'll do what you need Right-click the message to create the rul & choose create rule from message, choose your criteria & then click OK Go to TOOLS menu, MESSAGE RULES, MAIL, double-click the message rule just created & then you just add the other e-mail addresses -- Newbie Coder (It's just a name)
