Exporting Email from Outlook Express to SBC Yhaoo email
Hi:
For some reason, my emails got transferred out of SBC Yahoo email into Outlook Express...they are listed there. How do I go about transferring/expoorting the messages back into SBC Yahoo email ? Does SBC yahoo use Outlook Express under its User Interface ? If not, what does it use...? Thank you -DaleB

Exporting Email from Outlook Express to SBC Yhaoo email
What probably happened is that you accessed the SBC account in Outlook
Express and didn't have set Tools, Accounts, Mail, Properties, Advanced, Leave a copy on the server. So OE downloaded all the messages and deleted them from the server. All POP3 mail clients have a similar setting. Deleting the mail (not leaving a copy) is usually the default. SBC uses the standard Yahoo mail web interface. You can also use any POP3 mail client with SBC/Yahoo which would include all major mail programs. It's your choice. There is no convenient way to put the messages back. SBC/Yahoo doesn't provide any message import. Nor does it provide IMAP access which would be an alternative method. The only thing you can do is forward each message to yourself.
