When I start Outlook it does not display the inbox, the screen is blank in
the middle of the screen. All that is displayed is the search bar of the default website. It displays the standard menus, how many e-mails exist in the inbox (including if any new e-mails exist) and that I am working online succesfully. Also, if I click Forward or Reply the e-mail that is selected in the background appears in a new window on top of OE. I have tried to restore the backups of the inbox folders as per the KB but this did not make a difference. I have also checked the options under 'View' to see if there is an obvious setting that is stopping the inbox from being displayed. Has anyone got any ideas as to what could be the problem? Thanks, @ ![]() |

I don't understand your question. Open OE by itself. There is no search bar
in OE, and you refer to the default Website. Website for what? Your home page? Your ISP's Website. Does OE, or did it ever open to fill the entire monitor screen? -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Matt@Annoyed" wrote in message ...
