I have a problem and I hope that somebody in this estimeed community can help.
"Reply All" in Outlook Express used to automatically and appropriately enter addresses in the To and CC fields, according to the addresses in the incoming message being responded to. Suddenly, the "Reply All" omits some addresses in either the To or the CC or both, when responding to some messages. This seems to happen on certain messages but not on others. There is nothing visibly wrong with the messages themselves or the addresses which are omitted and I am at a loss on what the issue can be. The PC runs XP Home SP2 with all patches and is otherwise clean and responsive. I appreciate your help. Gino |

I don't really qualify to be a member of an esteemed community, but I'll
be glad to try to help you just the same. Do you have any filtering software that may be interfering? An anti-spam application, perhaps? Or do you have e-mailing scanning enabled in your anti-virus application? If you do have e-mail scanning enabled, you should disable it. It's really not needed, and it can cause problems such as yours. --- Ted Zieglar "Backup is a computer user's best friend." Thank you for the suggestion. I do have McAfee installed and scanning of
outgoing mail is enabled. I will try to disable it and see if the problem still occurs. Please note however, that the incomplete addressee list becomes manifest when clicking Reply All, and it is immediately apparent by comparing the addresses of the original incoming mail with the ones in the response message being composed, before actually sending it. I am not at that computer at the moment but I will try disabling the McAfee as you suggested and will let you know. Thank you Gino "Ted Zieglar" wrote: I don't really qualify to be a member of an esteemed community, but I'll be glad to try to help you just the same. Take a look at the Message Source (Ctrl-F3) for one of the problem
messages. Look at the TO and CC headers. Make sure that all the expected e-mail addresses are properly formatted. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "Gino" wrote in message ...
