I'm gonna have trouble explaining this... but my most recent security
updates put a newer version of msoe.dll in the Outlook Express folder. Now my Word macros don't work unless I replace it with the older version. Specifically, Word takes the current document and saves it as an outgoing email. But with this new msoe.dll OE the message as a *received* email. Any idea if I'm asking for trouble by using the older version of the dll? TIA for any advice. Regards, John |

That's a known bug in the latest OE security update. Your best bet
would be to uninstall the OE update (911567) via Control Panel until Microsoft can fix it (they are aware of the problem). If you are using automatic updates, change it to notify rather than automatically install so you can refuse that update from installing again. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "John Ciccone" wrote in message ...
