Is it possible for Outlook to send invites to a user outside the host server?
I mean, I have been asked to schedule a meeting for someone in my company, with the other attendee being at a different company. I saw a post on sharing a calendar (read-only) on the web, but I didn't think that was the same thing. I'm thinking that it is not possible, since you typically wouldn't be able to view the other person's availability. So is my only option to set up the meeting on my manager's calendar and just email the other attendee with the relevant information? Thanks for any tips or insights! |

As you say, you won't be able to see their free/busy, but that doesn't prevent you from sending the meeting request. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
