I have shared my calendar with someone, how do I stop sharing?
I am using Outlook 2007. I have shared my calendar with a colleague, but now
I want to stop sharing with him. How do I do it? I have already tried selecting the Calendar window and right-clicking on Calendar (under My Calendars) and have selected Change Sharing Permissions, and then have removed the person with whom I shared with, but they can still see it (and are no longer in my Permissions list). Any ideas anyone? |

This is using Exchange server? Does he have delegate permission to the
mailbox? Can he actually see the calendar (using file, open) or just your free/busy? -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. Yes, he can actually see the calendar and the details of what I have on every
day. "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: This is using Exchange server? Does he have delegate permission to the mailbox? Ok. Is he a delegate? Tools, Options, Delegates tab.
What other permissions are on right click on folder, Properties, Permissions - specifically for anonymous, everyone, & default? Do any groups (that he might belong to) have permissions? -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. No, he's not a delegate and he doesn't appear in my permissions (although he
did initially. I selected him, then clicked 'Remove' then 'Apply' then 'OK' , but he still can see my calendar, but he's been removed from my permissions list. We have both logged off and on since I tried this.) The only permissions I have are the default and my own - no other groups or people. "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: Ok. Is he a delegate?
