Hi - this is probably an obvious one but I'd appreciate some help
I keep all our outlook appointments for the last 4 years as we need to constantly refer back. They are displayed in the yearview interface (a simple year viewer skin by Planet Software). A couple of days ago all appointments over 6 months old disappeared (except recurring appointments) Checked in tools/options/folders/autoarchive and found that it was set to run every 14 days and clean out items over 6 months old. I've opened up archive.pst but the the calender appears only to be 6 months old as well. Any idea is it is really an archive problem I am looking at and how to retreve them. Finally I have an old pst which will have the lost items - can I import a date range from this ? Thanks |

Check the autoarchive properties for the Calendar folder also since folders
can have individual properties that override the default ones. I don't think you can import a range but you can open the PST can drag/drop parts of the folder using the list views of the Calendar folder. wrote in message ... Spot on - turns out the individual archive properties got altered -
all "lost" appointments are there in the archive. Not quite sure what you meant about dragging/dropping in the list view. I have the navigation pane open and the two calenders listed. I can drag one event from archive to main, but I have 4 years to do - is this the only way ? Thanks |

A list view of the archived calendar should make it pretty easy to drag/drop
stuff. wrote in message ... Spot on - turns out the individual archive properties got altered - all "lost" appointments are there in the archive.
