Default Calendar - Error Message for new appointment

The other day I deleted a number of old calendar entries and since then I am
getting the same error message as reported below in a number of threads -
"The form to view this message cannot be displayed" - while trying to create
a new appointment. I have cleared the forms cache in 2 different ways as
suggested in the threads and also followed the directions for deleting the
"FRMCACHE.DAT" file. It's still BROKE!
I am able to create a new appointment in my "ARCHIVED" calendar, just not in
my normal calendar. I looked at the archived calendar to see if there might
be something to restore, but it's empty.
Any suggestions anyone?

This is a real long shot but make sure that IPM.Appoointment is selected as
the default form he Right click on the Calendar folder and choose
Properties. There should be a "When posting to this folder" dropdown
