Default Cannot update appointment error message.

A user receives an error when accepting an appointment and also when someone
else accepts her request and she tries to delete the email that was sent
letting her know they accepted. The error states "Outlook Calendar cannot
update the appointment because the corresponding item in the folder you
synchronized does not match this item. To resolve the conflict open the
item. Do you want to open the item (Yes or No)." If she clicks Yes, it
brings up a window (Conflict message) showing 2 identical appointments in the
Calendar, except for the time it was entered.
What do I need to do to resolve this? Outlook does not show as being
"Corporate or Workgroup" and the version is 2002 or 2000 running on Windows
2000 Pro SP4.
Thank you for your assistance.

Default Cannot update appointment error message.

And the polite usenet response would be to post what that resolution was in
case someone else was watching this thread and had a similar problem
