I've managed to lose all the color labels in my calendar older than this
month. How can I go back and label/color code old appointments in a group? I can pull most of the groups out by category, but don't know how to then label the entire group Thanks Carolyn |

Sorry, Outlook version 2003. I think it was when I syn'd my Palm Pilot with
my laptop, instead of just with my desktop. Lost it on the Palm too. But if I can fix my Outlook on my desktop, I can re-sync with my Palm and I promise to leave my laptop alone! Thanks Carolyn "Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook]" wrote: Outlook version? That didn't work. I'm going to lose my mind. I have years of data in here
and I love being able to figure out what happened when just by the colour of my monthly calendar. They are pretty much sorted by Category to match the Labels as well. I just need to be able to go back and recolour everthing as a group. Any other ideas? Downloadable tools?? Carolyn "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: select them and right click - I think you can assign the labels as a group. if not, try a group by label view and drag appointments between groups. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: ** Please include your Outlook version, Account type, and Windows Version when requesting assistance ** "RamProwler" wrote in message ... Assuming the color was from a label - if you add the Label field to the view
then group by it, you can drag the items into the label groups to change the labels. If a group doesn't exist for the label, you'll need to change a label yourself so its created. I just tested it on Outlook 2003 and it does work. If the color was applied using a view, you'll need to either apply the view or recreate it. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "RamProwler" wrote in message ...
