"this item could not be saved because it has been changed by anotheruser or in another window"
i frequently get this message when I am updating a calendar item. I
will open the item, make whatever changes to the date, time, notes section, then try to either save or send an update, and get the following error message: "this item could not be saved because it has been changed by another user or in another window. do you want to make a copy in the default folder for the item?" not having any idea what is meant by the "default folder," i say no, close the calendar item without saving (I am actually not totally sure this ever happens with updates (i.e., when there are other participants invited)) and then re-open it, make the changes again and this time it lets me save them. today for the first time i got the same message when trying to save an email to which I had allowed images (company logo etc.) to download. any suggestions? thanks, anuket |
