Default calendar view problems

Hi,
we work on outlook 2003, in an Exchange2003 environment.

Our secretarys have multiple calendars, mostly from members of the
managementteam.
We run into the next problems with the calendar view:
When multiple calenders are selected, they are shown in the main
window. However sometimes two calendars have the same color!
The second problem is even stranger.
When switching from calendar to mail and back, one of the selected
calendars might not be shown, although it is still selected in the
calendar list. When deselected in the list, all at once the calendar IS
displayed. The only way to get this undone, is switch back to email
(inbox) or contacts..and back again to the calendar.
Has anyone ever seen this before and does anyone have the solution to
this problem.

Default calendar view problems

Hi,

We have a similar problem. Are these calendars in the user's public
folder favourites? I find the views do not refresh when switching
between calendars in the calendars tab in Outlook 2003. We have to
click on anything else (mail for example) then back again to get the
views to show up properly.

For example I have a my personal calendar and an office calendar under
my calendars tab in Outlook which I can view side by side. My calendar
has the default view applied to it. Our office calendar, which is in
the public folder favourites has multiple views attached to it, the
initial view being one called "office view" which has some automatic
formatting and filters applied to it. If I uncheck my personal
calendar, leaving the "office calendar" as the only one displayed, the
views in the dropdown show only the ones from my personal calendar.
This is a real problem for my users, as they click the calendar tab
every day to go to the "office calendar" and cannot find any of the
associated views in the toolbar dropdown.
I think this is a problem with the calendar chortcuts themselves not
refreshing. Rinze seems to be having a similar refresh problem.
If I were to open Outlook, and click folder list then select the
calendar I want to view, the views are available immediately. Does this
work for you as well?

Anyone know if there is a fix for this yet? I have tried this in cached
mode and without, with "automatically generate exchange views" checked
and without.

We are running Outlook 2003 SP2 and Exchange 2003 SP1 with all hotfixes
applied to client and server.

Cheers,

Brad
