Hi,

Any one please help me why i am getting the strange attandee status as
"Optional attandee" when the meeting is updated for a date change.

Steps followed.

Created a meeting request on "Outlook 2003 SP2" with the following parameters.

1. Meeting Request - Recurring
2. To address (Distribution List)

After creation of meeting request 5 attandees have accepted

Due to some of the resource unavailablity updated the meeting request with
different date.

Already accepted attandees have again accepted the meeting request and those
5 attandees have shown the status of "Optional Attandees"

Even though all the people are required attandees, shows 5 people as
optional attandees.

Any setup requies or this is the strange result....!
