I have two related problems. When I view my calender I would like to have my
task pad visible in the sidebar. I can do this on my other machine running
outlook 2003 dpes this. I can see the swith in view / taskpad view/ all
tasks. Seems that this should give me the task pad on the side of the
calender but is does not. Related to that when I print I try to print weekly
and select include taks pad. The task pad shows up but it is blank, none of
the tasks are shown. I can get all these functions to work in 2003 on the
other machine.

If ViewTaskpad is checked, you should see the Taskpad on the right side
with a Date Navigator (the little month calendar) above it. If you don't,
you may see two border lines on the right side. Click on and drag the
inner-most one to the left. This should open the Taskpad.

Brian that did not get it but I that got me digging aroung in Views/Current
Views.
What I found was that the view "Day,Week,Monthw auto preview" allowed the
task pad to appear. That makes no rational sense given the terms used but
that is what fixed it. Thanks for the kick start.
