Default How to retrieve a deleted calendar

I tried to move a calendar from my personal folder to shared information. I
right clicked on the calendar name, chose "move" and then selected a folder
in shared information. I got a message that said that I did not have
permission to move the calendar to shared information, and that the calendar
was now being autmatically removed. The calendar is now gone from my
personal folder and I cannot find it. I realize that I should have chosen
"copy" instead of "move" but that doesn't help me right now. Is there any
way to retrieve the calendar?

Thank you.

Are you using Exchange? Was the calendar your default calendar? Outlook

I am not using an Exchange server. The calendar was not my default. I am
using Outlook 2003, part of the Office 2003 Basic package.

If that's the case, then what do you mean in your otriginal post by

Where is the "shared information" if not on an Exchange server?

A fine question. It's on my folders list. I'm working with a
multi-calendar system that was set up by my predecessor. The shared
calendars, which can be viewed by others on my network, don't seem to exist
outside of my Outlook folders.

Thanks!

And what is the mechanism by which these calendars are shared?
