Default Auto add appointment to user calendar

Hi,
I'd like to know if it's possible (with the least amount of user actions) to
achieve this:
- A users enters an appointment in a public folder based calendar and wants
this appointment to be 'copied' to his own calendar automagically.
I think this can be done by inviting himself when adding the appointment,
but this requires an extra action of the user.
Is there some way this can be done fully automatic?

Thanks,
Dennes
