Default Drop downs don't work

When I go to schedule a new appointment I have a problem with the "start
time" and "end time" for both the date and time. When I click on the arrow
for the drop down for either the calendar and/or time comes up but when I
move the mouse down to pick and date/time the drop down choices (calendar and
times) disappear and I can't pick them with the mouse. Any ideas? I've
reinstalled the mouse software...

If you type in the times manually, e.g., 3p for 3:00, and then tab out of
the field, does it work afterwards?

Oddly- yes it does work then. Why is that? How do I get it back to "normal"
rather than having to do the manual and then tab?

Also, I've also found the wheel on my mouse works to scroll around on the
time and other areas but NOT the date.

What kind of mouse are you using? Logitech? I have heard that this brand
sometimes has problems scrolling in some Office applications.
