When I click on Tools in Outlook Express there is no "Options" on which to
click. Why is this?

Check in Tools/Internet Options - Advanced tab and scroll down to make sure
the box to use Passive FTP is not checked. See if that fixes it. If not,
try posting with more info to an internet explorer newsgroup. This
newsgroup is for users of Outlook Express.

Any one know why I can't access ftp sites in Internet Explorer, I'm
running XP service pack 2 on my main computer. Noticed it when I tried to
download updated printer drivers from Hewlett Packard. It all works fine
on my laptop using windows 98 and a wireless network connection.

thanks

Alex

You need to click on Tools in the main OE window, not a message window
in order to get Options.
