Default email forwarding macro

i'm looking for an outlook macro that will run every 30 seconds or so to
check for an email received from a particular address. if it finds one, it
will forward the message to another address. can someone point me in the
right direction as to where i can find info to help me develop this?

tia,

jt

Are you aware that you can create a rule that will automatically forward an
email from a particular address to another address? The rule runs when the
message arrives, which is much more efficient than having a macro polling
the mailbox every 30 seconds. Outlook Help has information about how to
create a rule under "Managing Messages by Using Rules"

Default email forwarding macro

yes i am aware of that- however outlook does not allow rules to be created
on hotmail accounts. basically, i want outlook to forward certain email
messages (from a particular address), originally sent to my hotmail account,
to my cell phone. and i don't want to pay for microsoft's mobile messenger
service. i thought this would be a nice workaround if i got outlook to
handle the forwarding.
